Q: Is there any charges to become a KREATIFMARKET Contributor?


 A: No, there is no charges to become a KREATIFMARKET Contributor. It is free of charge.



Q: What is the required size or format of my images?


 A: All files must be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format, free of noise or any other artifacts. The minimum size is 3 megapixels (MPs) and a  maximum of 70 MPs.



Q: Is it compulsory to upload Model or Property Release form?


A: If your photo(s) contain recognizable individual or private property, you are required to submit the release form. Or else, your submitted content will be rejected. If your photo does not include any person, release form is not required.



Q: I have several persons included within my photo. How do I upload the model release documents? 


A: You need to attach a model release to your submission for each recognizable individual in a photo. If you have several models, then you need to attach several releases.



Q: How do I fill in and upload the release form?


 A: The Model or Property Release form need to be printed. Then fill in all the required fields, scan it or take a photograph of it. The release form has to be uploaded together with your content before you submit your content for evaluation.


    All release forms must be filled in by you, as the photographer, your model and a witness who has to be a third person of legal age (you, the photographer or the model can't witness your own model releases). For self-portraits, you are both photographer and model but you cannot be the witness. For images with your children, you are both photographer and parent/guardian but you cannot be the witness. 


    Please use Model Release Form (Adult) if your model is aged 18 years and above, Model Release Form (Minor) for model under 18. For private property, please use Property Release form.


    Please make sure that the writing must be readable and the signatures cannot be digital.

Q: I have successfully submitted my content for review. How long will it take for my content to be approved?


 A: Reviewing your submitted content may take up to 3 working days. You will be notified through email once your content has been reviewed.



Q: How do I submit my editorial photography contents?


 A: There are two types of editorial photography, 'Illustrative Editorial' and 'Documentary Editorial'. To submit them, please follow below steps:


   Illustrative Editorial:

        1. Please type in your photo description in the 'Description' box using below format:

                > Editorial Photography: <Name of your image> - <Factual description of the image content, including what the image portrays>

                > Example:
                   Editorial Photography: Coffee addiction - A tall Starbucks coffee in front of a woman working on a laptop computer

     

        2. Then, you must type in below keywords in the 'Meta Tag Keywords' box:

                > illustrative

                > editorial

                > illustrative editorial


    Documentary Editorial:

        1. Please type in your photo description in the 'Description' box using below format:

                > Editorial Photography: <Name of your image> - <Factual description of the image content, including what the image portrays>

                > Example:

                    Editorial Photography: San Fermin Festival - Bulls and people are running in the street during San Fermin festival in Pamplona

     

        

         2. Then, you must type in below keywords in the 'Meta Tag Keywords' box:

Q: What is the difference between 'Illustrative Editorial' and 'Documentary Editorial'?


A: Illustrative Editorial:

        > The image quality must be superb, creative and/or conceptual

        > The image must clearly convey a strong idea or concept that illustrates news, current events, or a subject of human interest

        > Example: Portrait of a branded product or photo of a famous celebrity - Coca Cola, Pepsi, Faizal Tahir, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Beyonce etc.


    Documentary Editorial:

        > The image quality standards are not as strict as commercial or illustrative editorial standards

        > Documentary editorial captures an event, situation, or location at a specific moment in time

        > Examples: parade, landmark, political event, concert etc.



Q: Do I still need to submit the release form if the content that I'm submitting is an editorial content?


A: No, you do not need to submit the release form but please ensure that you follow the right editorial format when submitting one
